As a reminder, rising second-year law students (2Ls) can register for full access to OSCAR accounts beginning July 1, 2017, at 9 a.m. EDT.  Full access includes the ability to register for an account, upload documents, identify recommenders, search for positions, and submit/finalize applications.

In a related issue, several law schools have asked the AO if the federal judiciary is under a hiring freeze.  The answer is no.  The current hiring freeze on government employees affects only executive branch personnel.  Judiciary funding remains sufficient to support continued law clerk hiring for federal clerkship positions.  The AO will notify law schools if this changes.
